Our U10 girls travelled to Newbridge today to support the Dublin Senior Ladies against Kildare as they witnessed the girls in blue come out on top 4-12 to 1-5.
They were warmly welcomed by all at Cedral St. Conleth’s Park and definitely had a day they won’t forget.
The Brigid’s girls put on a great performance at half time playing against Carbery.
But the pinnacle of the day was as when the girls cheered on our very own St. Brigid’s girl Ashling Nyhan when she came on in the second half.
At the end of the match, the victorious Dublin Ladies stayed on the pitch, where the girls got to meet the team and get plenty of pictures and autographs, including their hero of the day, Ashling!
Thanks to all St. Brigid’s mentors and parents who travelled and helped make today a day they won’t forget and to the Dublin Senior Ladies who were so kind and generous with their time.
