Even the rain could not dampen the enthusiasm for all those who participated in the Family Day Handball event, which took place at St Brigid’s courts today, with most of the action taking place indoors.

Experienced players and beginners of all ages took to the courts to the great enjoyment of all. It truly is a “Game for Life”!🔴⚪️

For many who took part, it was their first handball experience while exhibition games featured many of our outstanding juveniles. Even the Gardai present took part in the action to the great delight of the young juveniles who played them!

Why not continue playing over the Summer months? Use our outdoor courts to hone your skills. Handball is a very enjoyable and great game for hand-eye coordination, footwork and the raising of skill levels which can benefit all sports.
2025 has already been a great year for St Brigid’s juvenile handballers, culminating in outstanding Feile successes at National level.🏆
