A fantastic evening of hurling unfolded at Russell Park as St Brigid’s hosted St Pat’s of Palmerstown in a spirited Dads & Lads clash. With a great turnout from both sides, the game was played in the right spirit—full of effort, honesty, and plenty of laughs.

The warm summer weather set the perfect stage for an enjoyable runout. St Brigid’s, buoyed by home support, showed flashes of sharp teamwork and crisp striking. Meanwhile, St Pat’s brought plenty of fight and a never-say-die attitude, keeping the match competitive from start to finish.

There were strong performances all around, with a few sideline cheers for some particularly vintage first touches and daring solo runs that may or may not have ended in success! Crucially though, it was the camaraderie and shared love for the game that shone brightest.

No trophies were lifted, but everyone left with a smile, a few extra steps clocked, and the satisfaction of a game well played. Here's to many more evenings like this.
