It’s All Ireland Final week for the Dublin Senior Ladies Footballers and all roads lead to Croke Park this Sunday for a highly anticipated clash with Meath for The Brendan Martin cup.
Following the Dubs hard fought semi-final win vs Galway after extra time, an exciting contest is on the cards after Meath dethroned holders Kerry in Tullamore to set up an all Leinster affair.
Dublin are looking for their seventh All Ireland title in Croke Park as they take on a Meath side who are looking to add a third title to their collection following their 2 in a row wins in 2021 & 2022 - with Meath getting the better of Dublin in their last All-Ireland final clash in 2021.
Our Girls in Blue are hoping to add to their successes in recent years winning five titles in eight years. One of those girls is our very own Ashling Nyhan who is hoping to add a Celtic cross to her Senior inter-county collection, alongside her two Leinster Titles and join previous St. Brigid’s winners Colleen Barrett, Sorcha Furlong, Elaine Kelly, Ailish McKenna, Noelle Healy, Ciara Trant & Deirdre Murphy in the club’s roll of honour.
