The Trustees and members of St. Brigid’s wish to extend our deepest sympathies to the Tighe family on the recent passing of Vincent Tighe, father of Seamus Tighe Snr and grandfather of Seamus and Malachy Tighe.

The death has occurred of Vincent (Nissie) Tighe,  Cloonfad, Rooskey. Peacefully at his home surrounded by his loving family. Predeceased by his beloved wife, Maura (Reynolds) and much loved father of Seamus, Vincent, Assumpta (Duignan), Marie (Clancy), Kathleen (Hanley) and Angela. He will be greatly missed by his family, brother Desmond, daughters in law, Rita and Mellory, sons in law, John, Frank, Matt and Barry, his eighteen grandchildren, nine great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, extended family, neighbours and friends.

 Vincent’s Funeral mass took place on Wednesday September 3rd at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, Rooskey. Burial afterwards at Kilglass Cemetery.
