The Trustees and members of St. Brigid’s wish to extend our deepest sympathies to the Purtill family on the recent passing of Martin Purtill Senior, father of Martin Purtill and Grandad of Luke Purtill.

Purtill, Martin (Castleknock, Dublin 15 and formerly of Moyasta, Co. Clare) November 25th, 2025 (peacefully) in the loving care of the staff at Connolly Hospital, Blanchardstown. Beloved husband of the late Nancy and much-loved father of Martin and Ann; sadly missed by his loving grandchildren Luke, Áine and Martin, son-in-law Perry, daughter-in-law Eileen, relatives and friends. 

Reposing at Cunningham’s Funeral Home, Blanchardstown on Sunday evening (November 30th) between 4 pm and 6 pm. Removal on Monday morning (December 1st) to The Church of Our Lady Mother of the Church, Castleknock arriving for Funeral Mass at 11 am followed by burial in Castleknock, Churchyard Cemetery.
