Dear Members,

As another year draws to a close, I would like to wish all our members and their families a very happy, peaceful Christmas and a healthy New Year. I hope the festive season brings time to rest, to reconnect with loved ones, and to remember with gratitude those no longer with us — especially some great servants of our club whom we lost during the year and who remain very much in our thoughts.

2025 has been a year of real pride for our club. The opening of our new all-weather pitch by An Taoiseach Micheál Martin was a landmark moment, and the outstanding achievements of Cian O’Sullivan and Phyllis Breslin reminded us of the excellence, dedication and values that run through St. Brigid’s. Throughout the year, our players represented the club with commitment, skill and respect, giving us plenty to celebrate — and the odd nervous moment along the way.

I want to sincerely thank everyone who gives their time, energy and support to the club: our coaches, mentors, volunteers, committee members, supporters and sponsors. Your generosity and commitment ensure that our club remains a place of community, belonging and enjoyment for all, both on and off the field.

As we look ahead, we do so with optimism and confidence, grounded in strong values and even stronger people. Thank you for all that you do. Enjoy the Christmas break, take care of one another, and I look forward to seeing you back around the club in the New Year.

Nollaig shona daoibh go léir,
