St. Brigid’s Ladies Handball section welcomed the ladies from St. Mary’s Gaa Club Leixlip on Monday evening for a night of social handball and challenge matches.
The Leixlip ladies demonstrating great strength and ability had the St.Brigid’s crew putting on their best displays of handball. Leixlip more familiar with their way around the 40x20 alley faced the fun of the OneWall and it's fair to say they loved it.
The night gave everyone the opportunity to try something new and to play someone new! Needless to say, there was laughter and great sport. This was a lovely lead into Woman in Sport week March 2026.
St. Brigid’s will be hosting the ladies from Kilcock, Maynooth and Leixlip during women in sport week for some more challenge matches and social handball.
Any new or previous players welcome any Thursday from 7:30pm - pop down and try handball out, you'll be surprised how much you will enjoy it!
