What a day for our lads yesterday as they were crowned Regional Féile Champions after an unforgettable campaign!

We're still buzzing after an unbelievable day of football. The team were outstanding from start to finish, showing skill, determination and incredible character throughout the competition.

The group stages saw St Brigid's record excellent victories over Dungannon Thomas Clarkes (Tyrone) and Clann Éireann (Armagh) before overcoming Balyna (Kildare) in the semi-final to book their place in the decider.

The final produced a finish that nobody in attendance will forget. Facing the host club Simonstown Gaels (Meath), the lads found themselves five points down at half-time and playing against the wind in the second half. Refusing to give in, they battled their way back into the game before striking for a dramatic late goal to secure a brilliant 2-4 to 1-4 victory.

Winning it the hard way somehow made it even more special. The resilience, teamwork and belief shown by this group was simply outstanding.

The celebrations didn't stop there. One of the highlights of the day came when the team returned to Russell Park, proudly carrying the trophy through the gates to a fantastic welcome from the Mini Leagues crowd. It was a moment the players, coaches, families and supporters will remember for a long time.
