A familiar face in Russell Park recently celebrated a birthday in the club bar as family and friends gathered for the 80th birthday of Eamon ‘Silver’ Dunning.
In more recent years Silver’s involvement with St. Brigid’s spans from manning the carpark, being an active member of the St Brigid’s Ga Ga Man Shed, and on dog patrol on the clubs’s pitches but over the course of his involvement with the club he’s been a player, mentor and referee all while still being an avid supporter of his beloved Rossies.
A great night was had by all with Silver being presented with some unique presents for his milestone 80th birthday.
