A fantastic weekend for our St Brigid’s handballers at the 2026 She’s Ace Festival in Beragh, Co. Tyrone, with seven of our players in action – four girls and three ladies.

We were delighted to see all of our juvenile girls record victories against strong opposition. Congratulations to Molly, Aoife, Ciara and Lauren on their excellent performances throughout the weekend.

🏆 On Friday evening, Éilish and Aoife claimed the Mother & Daughter B Doubles title with a thrilling 11–10 tie-break victory over AnneMarie and Lauren in an all-Dublin final.

👏 In nearby Killyclogher, Marina also represented St Brigid’s with a series of competitive matches in the ladies’ section.

🥇 On Saturday evening, Ciara was crowned the Girls’ 15&U champion after progressing through the round-robin stages before winning the final.

⭐ On Sunday morning, Lauren took to the centre court in the Girls’ 13&U final, which was streamed live on TG4. She produced a strong performance to secure a narrow victory and claim the title.

Next up for our juveniles is the Leinster semi-finals, taking place in St Brigid’s Hall next Saturday from 11.00am. Everyone is welcome to come along and support our players!
