A big congratulations to the 2013 and 2014 boys who participated in the Vincent Walsh Memorial Gaelic Football Tournament hosted by Templeogue Synge Street last Sunday.

There were 20 teams from all four provinces in attendance including Shelmaliers, Knockmore, Bishopstown and Cuilcagh Gaels. There were three teams entered from St. Brigids in the 10 aside matches and the boys displayed great skills and sportsmanship through out the day. The B and C teams were knocked out at the semi-finals stage of their grouping while the A team won out the A competition beating Salthill Knocknacarra in the final by three points.

A big thank you to all the coaches and parents who helped out on a very long day. Well done to the boys who put in a massive effort.
